Biography
Rocco A. Petrozzi, DPM is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon, and an Associate Professor at Cleveland Foot & Ankle Clinic at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM).
Dr. Petrozzi is originally from Eastern Ohio, where he attended Otterbein University in Westerville, graduating with a BS and a double major in Life Science and Biochemistry. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2003 at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly known as Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine). Dr. Petrozzi’s postgraduate education included a 36-month residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Youngstown Podiatric Residency Program at Forum Health (WRCS).
Dr. Petrozzi was in private practice for several years before coming back to Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2008 where he is an instructor for 1st and 2nd year students. Dr. Petrozzi also coordinates several 3rd year courses.
At KSUCPM’s Cleveland Foot & Ankle Clinic, Dr. Petrozzi is both an instructor in clinical patient care and a practitioner. He has specialties in sports medicine and injuries, diabetic care, heel pain, orthotic therapy, ingrown toenails, infections, tendonitis and flat feet.
Dr. Petrozzi is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and a member of the American and Ohio Foot and Ankle Medical Associations.
